Lisbon tours to Évora and wine tasting
Overview
This private tour starts in Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with unique buildings from the Roman era. In this tour you will have a different view of Portugal, you can taste its gastronomy and see its endless lowlands with cork and olive trees. The wine tasting will be in a selected winery to satisfy your curiosity and we'll finish in Monsaraz, one of the oldest villages in Portugal, with an amazing view of the Alqueva and it's white buildings. A unique experience!

What To Expect
Évora is the only Portuguese city to be a member of the Network of the Oldest European Cities. Its historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to incredible monuments such as the Temple of Diana and the Gothic-style Évora Cathedral, one of the most important medieval cathedrals. Another unforgettable monument is the unique Chapel of the Bones. Depending on when your tour is, we will suggest one of the wineries for the wine tasting, for example Esporão or Herdade do Freixo. Our tour concludes in Monsaraz, a medieval village perched on a hill overlooking the Guadiana River and the Spanish border. This picturesque walled village consists of alleys lined with gleaming white houses. In 2017, it won the Monumental Villages competition of the Seven Wonders of Portugal! It's a place not to be missed!
