Day Hike in National Park Risnjak from Zagreb
Overview
See some of Croatia’s most rugged and beautiful terrain on this adventurous, 1-day hiking trip. Depart in the early morning by car from Zagreb and make your way to Croatia’s mountainous Gorski Kotar region, often called “the Green Lungs of Croatia” because of its thick forests. Your destination is National Park Risnjak, one of Croatias best kept secrets! See the famous Schlosser hut, optionally scramble to the top of the rocks and see the sea on clear days. Return by evening back to Zagreb, where the tour ends. This is a long lasting day, feeling as two!

06:00 Meeting / Pickup at your accomodation in Zagreb
06:00-8:00 Transfer to NP Risnjak
8:00 - 11:00 Schlosser hike up to Mountain hut
11:00 - 12:00 Lunch break (please bring lunch, not available, not included)
12:00-15:00 Hike down to entrance
15:00-15:30 Transfer to Kupa trail - OPTIONAL
15:30 - 17:00 Kupa source hike - OPTIONAL
17:00-19:00 Transfer to Zagreb

- Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or alternative route / trail.
