Toulouse Quest: A Love Story Parted by War
Overview
Pierre is a soldier who left Toulouse for the war. Now, years later, he is back. His city is in ruins, his home is gone, and Lucie, the woman he loves, never replied to his last letters. He walks through the rubble, looking for a sign that she is still alive.
This self-guided romantic quest takes you on a 72-minute walk through the pink city of Toulouse. Using the Questo app on your smartphone, you follow Pierre's search at 12 stops across the historic centre: from Place du Capitole and the Couvent des Jacobins to the riverside Basilique Notre-Dame de la Daurade, the Renaissance courtyards of Hotel d'Assézat, the duck pond of Jardin Royal, and Cathédrale Saint-Étienne.
Solve puzzles and piece together an emotional love story written in the stones of the city.
Start whenever you like and explore 3.7 kilometres of Toulouse's most beautiful streets at your own pace.
Perfect for couples and curious travellers. A bittersweet love story set in one of France's most beautiful cities.
