Tsinandali Palace

Chavchavadze family used to be one of the most noble royal families in Georgia. We will visit their summer residence in Tsinandali, where the first ever Georgian wines were produced with the European methods. This was all thanks to Aleksandre Chavchavadze – the head of the family. He also played a big role of preserving the information about the ancient practices of wine production in Georgia.We’ll have a tour around the house and hear the stories of the family, after which we will enjoy a glass of a local vintage – Tsinandali and a walk through the beautiful gardens surrounding the palace.
