Overview
Beyond being beautifully crafted and attractive, Swedish design tends to be practical in nature. Design pieces usually serve as building blocks that can be mixed and matched with other design elements to constantly expand on collections, therefore implementing early on in the process another vital part in our design culture – sustainability! On this tour we explore all the above elements while giving you a hands on introduction into the brands and designers that have put Sweden on the international map. From the well know and common of IKEA, Volvo, H&M and Fjällräven to the aesthetic of Svenskt Tenn, Bruno Mathsson, Carl Malmsten, Kosta Boda and Orrefors we take you through an immersive experience of what Swedish design truly is. Minimalist and functional yet stylish and innovative, our designs are often seen worldwide as always trendy under the “less is more” mantra and this tour takes you through the best, finest and most Swedish-y design stores that Stockholm has to offer!
