Overview

Travel back to ancient times when Salona, was a vibrant Roman metropolis with over 50,000 inhabitants and learn why the inhabitants left their city in the 6th century. Experience the splendor of this ancient city through its surviving structures on this guided walking tour. Marvel at the ancient sarcophagi and the impressive ruins of the amphitheater - a real highlight of the tour. For the best experience, we recommend scheduling the tour in the cooler morning or evening hours during the summer. The terrain can be uneven at times. Therefore, please wear comfortable and sturdy shoes.
Admission to the open-air museum costs about 10€ for adults.
