Excursion to Mount Etna Departure from Catania
Overview
Our tour of Mount Etna offers an authentic and immersive experience, far from the most touristic routes. Starting from Catania, we will explore the majestic Valle del Bove, a natural amphitheater formed by ancient eruptions, and reach an altitude of 2200-2400 meters, from which we will admire the summit craters and the most recent lava flows. We will also visit the suggestive Silvestri craters, created by the eruption of 1892, for a journey into the heart of the geological history of the volcano. Our trek, suitable for those who love nature and adventure, develops along a loop route, allowing you to discover spectacular corners of Etna. We provide all necessary equipment, including hiking shoes and poles. A unique excursion to experience Etna in its essence, between breathtaking views and lunar landscapes.
