Route 66, also known as the Mother Road of America, comes to an end at Santa Monica. Starting in Illinois, the road winds its way across America, leaving a trail of ghost stories in its wake. There's also the enigma of never-ending bodies supposedly washing up on the beach...only to be lost and reappear and seem to be walking on water.
