Overview
Sand-Covered Beaches
This area has so many amazing beaches to explore, including but not limited to: Faro de las Cabezas de San Juan (which includes a lighthouse, dry forest, Playa Lirios), Playa Colora, Playa Escondida, Balneario Seven Seas, and the breath-taking Balneario la Monserrate (Luquillo Beach).
Rich & Colorful Culture
Known for their strong Afro-Puerto Rican art, music, dance, and culinary traditions, the colorful town of Loíza is a must-see for those visiting the area. Other points of interest open year-round include the gorgeous Playa la Posita, Pinones State Forest and Punta Cangrejo.
El Yunque Rainforest
With an average rainfall of 120 inches a year, El Yunque has a very diverse ecosystem, hosting hundreds of unique plant and animal species, including the Island's famous coquí frog.
