What To Expect
Spend the afternoon the local way, combining two favorite leisure-time activities in Lapland: snowmobiling and ice fishing. Hop onto a snowmobile and drive through the wilderness to reach the perfect fishing spot on some of the many frozen lakes or rivers.
Once there, you’ll get to drill the whole in the ice and start luring the fish! If you're lucky to catch one, you get to cook it on the open fire.
After enjoying hot drinks and a snack, you’ll ride your snowmobiles back to Safari Center.
Duration of the program is 3 hours, including preparations. The riding time on snowmobiles is approximately 1 hour and 30 - 40 minutes. The average speed during our short tours is limited due to the safety and traffic regulations. Two adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding supplement for an extra charge. Children are traveling in the sleigh pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.
