Circo Massimo (pass by)

The Circus Maximus is the large ancient stadium where chariot races were held for the pleasure of Roman citizens and royalty. Listen closely and you can almost hear the roar of the crowds and the galloping of the horses’ hooves as they race for the finish. Envision chariot races as seen in the famous film Ben Hur.

Foro Romano

Your next stop in Rome's historic center will be Capitoline Hill where you will be treated to a panoramic splendor sweeping across the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill from a terrace known for the most picturesque view. It is incredible to imagine that the vast remains of temples and public buildings in the Roman Forum were once part of the most important center of the Roman Empire as it served as its political, legal, financial and religious nucleus.

Fontana di Trevi

Trevi fountain is the largest Baroque fountain in the city. Legend has it that if visitors throw a coin into the fountain, they will be assured a return to Rome. The current interpretation is that two coins will lead to a new romance and three will ensure either a marriage or divorce. Another current version of this legend is that it is lucky to throw three coins with one's right hand over one's left shoulder into the fountain.

Spanish Steps

The Spanish Steps is where you will find the famous 18th-century winding steps that connect the square below to the French church of Trinita dei Monti above. Below is the early 1600’s Baroque fountain, “Fontana Della Barcaccia”, or “The Fountain of the Old Boat”, a type of shallow boat popular for carrying wine to the port of Ripetta. The unique fountain is credited to Pietro Bernini, the father of the famous Gian Lorenzo Bernini.

Piazza Navona

Step into a world where history intertwines with vibrant energy, and the spirit of Rome dances upon the cobblestones. Welcome to Piazza Navona, a captivating square nestled in the heart of Rome, where the spirit of the Eternal City comes alive in vibrant hues and lively melodies. At the heart of Piazza Navona, an ancient spectacle unfolds. The elliptical expanse stretches out like a stage, revealing a captivating ensemble of architectural treasures. Your gaze is irresistibly drawn to the centerpiece of this grand spectacle—the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, the Fountain of the Four Rivers. Majestic and imposing, it bursts forth with an exuberance that seems to defy gravity. Each intricate detail tells a story—four colossal figures representing the world's great rivers, their features frozen in awe as they marvel at the artistry that surrounds them.

Basilica of Saint Paul Outside The Walls

Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls is one of the four major basilicas in the city. City Balloon Tours uses three different cancellation policies, depending on your specific Tour or Activity. Please be sure to verify which one applies to your chosen experience before confirming your Booking.

This information can be found on every Experience we offer under the Cancellation Policy section, as well as on the checkout page.

Standard Cancellation Policy — A majority of our activity cancellations are free up to 24 hours before the activity commencement time (based on the local time of the activity).

All Sales Final — If any Goods or Services are designated as ‘All Sales Final’ or with materially similar messaging (which includes but is not limited to all group bookings booked through our Group Bookings Department), it is non-refundable, and it will not be possible to change or cancel it after making a Booking for any reason.

Non-Standard Cancellation Policy — A minority of Goods or Services have other, different cancellation policies. In all circumstances, you must check the cancellation policy contained in the applicable Product listing at the time of your Booking, which is the policy that will apply to and govern the terms of your cancellation and any refunds.

Cancelling Your Reservation

To cancel your Reservation you must contact City Balloon Tours as soon as possible.

Cancellation Due To Bad Weather
If your Activity Operator must cancel due to bad weather and cannot accommodate you on another day, you will be issued a refund. Please be aware before issuing a refund, City Balloon Tours will confirm if this is the case. Please note, this is only a valid reason if the Tour Operator cancels the tour.

If Tour Operator Cancels Tour or Excursion
If, for some reason, a Tour Operator cancels and cannot accommodate you on another day or at another time, you will be offered a refund and the option to take the trip. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather, City Balloon Tours will confirm this before authorizing a refund.

Without limiting the foregoing, neither the Company nor any of the company’s provider makes any representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied: (i) as to the operation or availability of the Service, or the information, content, and materials or products included thereon; (ii) that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (iii) as to the accuracy, reliability, or currency of any information or content provided through the Service; or (iv) that the Service, its servers, the content, or e-mails sent from or on behalf of the Company are free of viruses, scripts, trojan horses, worms, malware, timebombs or other harmful components.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain types of warranties or limitations on applicable statutory rights of a consumer, so some or all of the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to You. But in such a case the exclusions and limitations set forth in this section shall be applied to the greatest extent enforceable under applicable law.
