His influence was so significant that our month of July was named after him as well as the German Kaiser and the Russian Czar. During this tour we will visit the Suburra, the Rome’s neighborhood where he passed his young years. You will see the Forum that he built when he became dictator, the temple dedicated to his divine ancestor Venus, the Senate house that he enlarged and renovated, the altar where his body was cremated and the exact place where he was assassinated.

Our professional guide with history background will bring the past to present and show you how was I century Roman society. Following on the footsteps of the great dictator, you will learn about historical figures who surrounded him such as Cleopatra, Mark Anthony, Augustus, Brutus and find out more about the ancient culture and daily lives of the Romans.
