A professional driver will guide your clients during an amazing daily round trip tour of Pompeii and its vast archaeological site in southern Italy’s Campania region. The city is mainly famous for the ruins of the ancient city of Pompeii, located in the zone of Pompei Scavi. The Shrine of Our Lady of Pompei, dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, has become a site for Catholic pilgrimages in recent years. Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried in meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 C.E. A tour guide is not included, a suggestion may be to bring a guidebook. Remember to check the website for opening times of the location and the price of entrance ticket.
