Sete Cidades, Hike Serra Devassa and Boca do Inferno
Overview
An Amazing hike in one of the highest points in São Miguel Island. If you are looking for perfect combination of mountains, valleys, endemic vegetation and lagoons, then this is the right hike for you!
During this tour you will also have the opportunity see one of the most famous views in the island - Boca do Inferno - where you can see the the full rim of the caldera of Sete Cidades. In the end of this hike, you will also be mesmerized by the main viewpoint in Sete Cidades - Vista do Rei - where you can see the too lagoons united, forming a unique sight in the world.
This hike is 4.9 km long (3 miles), of medium difficulty level and it takes around 2 hours to complete.

Hotel Pick Up its included if you are staying in our near Ponta Delgada City. If your accommodation is more than 10 km its 20€ if its more than 25 km its 40€.
What To Expect
This tour starts with a trail that is located in the western part of the island, almost at the top of Sete Cidades volcano crater, near the Canário park and it starts and finishes in the same spot. After the trail, we will descend and see the Canário lagoon and the main viewpoint to Sete Cidades two-colored lagoon.
