Treat yourself to an exquisite private French wine- and cheese-tasting experience in Paris! Get an authentic taste of life in Paris and begin your French culinary experience.
Your friendly host, a fully trained oenologist (an expert in winemaking), will make you feel at home and teach you all about wine and cheese pairing. As you savor four different wines, learn about the art of wine tasting, the different varieties of grapes used in the winemaking process, and how to use your sense of sight, smell and taste to fully appreciate the flavors.
You’ll also sample three different varieties of French cheeses. Your expert host will explain how different types of cheese are categorized by their rinds, such as floral rind cheese, like Camembert and Brie, and hard rind cheese, like Emmental and Comté. Discover the techniques used to store and savor cheese while enjoying your cheese tasting.
You’ll leave with newfound wine and cheese knowledge to impress your friends back home!

Enjoy your wine and cheese tasting session in this historic brasserie!
Over two hours, our oenologist will help you unlock the secrets of French wine tasting. Our wine expert will teach you how to enjoy wine with more than just your sense of taste, and to associate certain types of cheeses with different varieties of wine to develop your olfactory senses – all within a unique setting dating back to Paris in the early 1900s.
In an intimate, friendly and cozy atmosphere, you will learn to savor wine by using the senses of sight, of smell and of taste. Be ready to discover some very surprising combination of flavors! You will also find out everything you’ve always wanted to know about oenology: the different grape varieties, the different technical terms, the process of wine making... whether you're a complete novice or a fine connoisseur, our oenologist will happily answer all of your questions. Get your curiosity satisfied thanks to this fun class, and bring back home some great facts and some real knowledge about wine that will dazzle your friends and family.
