Start at the Gambetta entrance (56 rue des Rondeaux), not the Ménilmontant gate. Download all three tours over Wi-Fi before you arrive. Entry is free, open about 9am to 5:30pm, so start before 4pm. Bring water and wear flat shoes for the cobblestones.
