Start your day early by heading out from Puerto Escondido, enjoying the scenic coastal drive with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
First stop:
Playa Mazunte explore the beach or the town’s small shops and cafes.
Second stop:
The Mexican Turtle Center (Centro Mexicano de la Tortuga), a conservation center dedicated to protecting sea turtles. Here, you can learn about the different species that inhabit the region and the ongoing efforts to preserve them. Closed Monday and Tuesday
Third stop: Zipolite
For lunch, enjoy some fresh seafood at one of the local beachfront restaurants, where you can savor regional dishes like ceviche or fish tacos while taking in the view of the ocean. After lunch, you might want to explore the nearby Punta Cometa, a rocky promontory that offers panoramic views of the coastline, especially beautiful at sunset.
