Safari 4x4 in Thassos
Overview
Step aboard a comfortable air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle and explore the mountainous side of Thassos through rugged landscapes, traditional villages, and panoramic views.
The excursion begins with an off-road drive through untouched terrain towards the mountain village of Kastro, known for its old church and peaceful village square.
We then visit the Panagouda Monastery, a serene place surrounded by nature, where a monk has lived in solitude for over thirty years.
The adventure continues to Mount Ipsarion (1,204 m), the highest peak of Thassos, offering breathtaking panoramic views across the island.
On the way down, enjoy a relaxing stop surrounded by wild vegetation and beautiful mountain scenery before ending the experience in the traditional village of Maries, where a light local lunch is included.
