The Tour as proposed is a "UNIQUE" opportunity for those who trust in Emanuele Taxi Ischia's skills to live a complete experience, and with a right mix between visits to the most important places, and combine an important experience with our historical and wonderful wine tradition, in fact viticulture in Ischia boasts a thousand-year tradition, introduced by Greek colonists and based on a real "heroic agriculture". The steep terraces supported by dry stone walls, called parracine, and the volcanic soils give the wines a unique minerality, flavor and character. Our appreciated native vines, Biancolella, Forastera and Per' 'and Palummo (Piedirosso).

    Castello Aragonese

    The Aragonese Castle is a fortification located on a tidal island of trachytic rock on the eastern side of the island of Ischia, connected by a 220 m long masonry bridge to the ancient village of Celsa, known as Ischia Ponte. The islet on which it was built, reaches a height of 113 meters above sea level and covers an area of about 56000 m2. Geologically it's a bubble of magma. The Aragonese Castle of Ischia stands out as a testimony of all the civilizations that have passed from here, between the Greeks and Romans to pass to the Aragonese dynasty up to the Colonna. Many centuries and many civilizations have made the old fortress built on the island in front of Ischia a strategic outpost for the defense of the island. Unique viewpoints in the world, history, monuments dating back several centuries, make the Aragonese Castle one of the main attractions of Ischia.
