Wear your Augmented Reality smart glasses and enjoy a unique, innovative, and immersive walking tour at the archaeological site of Herculaneum. Travel back to 79 AC and see what Herculaneum's squares and houses looked like before being destroyed in a volcanic eruption.
Meet your Tour Assistant at Herculaneum main entrance and get kitted out with your glasses before listening to a quick introduction to how to use them. Then, begin your tour guided by your Tour Assistant which has been designed by an archaeologist team to show you what life was like in Herculaneum before the eruption.
The software of the glasses creates holograms that overlap the existing ruins, showing what the most significant temples, houses, and buildings originally looked like. Cast yourself into the bygone age of ancient life in Herculaneum, walking through the city to feel like a Roman.

- Children under 18 must show a valid identity document or passport at the ticket office

- Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure time.
- If you are late, we will wait for a maximum of 5 minutes. After that, the tour will start out of respect for the other participants.
