Overview
Munich blends centuries of history and modern allure. Its landmarks, from the Frauenkirche cathedral to the BMW Museum, showcase the city's architectural diversity. Bustling Marienplatz features the iconic Glockenspiel, while historic beer halls like Hofbräuhaus embody Munich's renowned brewing culture. Beyond the city, the Olympic Park's modernist design and green spaces reflect its 1972 Games legacy.
Just outside Munich, the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial stands as a solemn reminder of the Holocaust's horrors. Dachau's preserved structures and the museum's exhibits provide a comprehensive understanding of this dark chapter, dedicated to honoring victims and educating future generations.
