Madeira Valley of the Nuns Tour
Overview
Make your way up to Eira do Serrado where you'll find one of the most exclusive and beautiful views, not to mention a great "green" location unlike any other in Madeira.
The journey down to the Nuns Valley (Curral da Freiras) village takes approximately 20 minutes where guests will enjoy the countryside, forest brushes mixed with populated areas with quaint houses typical of the Madeiran society. The village is very isolated and locals mainly live off what they cultivate. The local chestnuts are delicious and are used in everyday cooking.
Upon your return, stop at the stunning fishing village of Câmara de Lobos. This is were Winston Churchill spent his time painting his beautiful landscapes and were you will be able to try the famous local drink, Poncha.

Pickups from selected hotels in Funchal, Câmara de Lobos and Caniço is available wherever possible.Note that some hotels do not allow for easy access or parking. On those cases we'll send you an alternative pickup point close to your hotel.For hotels in the Lido area, we'll kindly ask customers to meet us at the office in at Monumental Lido.Please make sure to check your e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp for pickup messages or reminders from the staff the day before your tour.
