Cooking lessons in a French House in the Loire Valley
Overview
My cooking classes are completely à la carte. We choose the menu together to take into account your desires, what you like and possibly your allergies. With more than 20 years of experience, I offer a typical French homemade kitchen (everyday cooking or more sophisticated according to your choice) in a kitchen that could be yours. I only buy fresh seasonal produce (depending on the season) that I pick up at the local Point of Sale held every Thursday morning in the Town Hall Square near my home. Local vegetable, fruit, cheese, meat and poultry producers are my exclusive suppliers. Even flour, I buy 10km from home at the mills of Sologne which makes flours of exceptional quality from varieties of old wheat, with a lower gluten content. In April/May/June, I pick up the asparagus and strawberries directly from the grower in the nearby village. Welcome home!

What To Expect
A la carte experience*. We will make dishes together (2 or 3 maximum: a quick small starter or appetizer, a main course with a vegetable side dish, and a dessert). We will choose the menu together during the reservation. Depending on the season, the use of fresh and local products is what I favor by shopping at our weekly Thursday Point of Sale (farmers' market). At the end of the class, we can taste the dishes made together accompanied by a glass of local wine offered (if you are staying in an Airbnb, I can also offer you to take the dishes made, you will just have to reheat them - a contribution of €3 will be requested for the containers).
An original and useful experience during your stay in the Loire Valley between Chambord and Chenonceau, and 15 minutes from the Beauval Zoo.
