A day dedicated to spirituality and medieval times. We start with Fatima, one of the most important shrines in Europe and its sanctuary, home of one of the largest pilgrimage centers in the world.
From here we will depart to Obidos, a charming medieval town within walls, where we will have a chance to taste the typical liqueur of the region: the “Ginga” served in a glass of chocolate. Obidos is the best example of the medieval city in Portugal. As we enter its walls we go back in time. You will find ancient stone alleys, houses with white-painted secular facades, ever-active commerce, and countless churches built over the centuries.
