Tastes of Lagos: A Food & History Tour with an Aussie Twist
Join an Aussie guide for a 4-hour walking feast through Lagos! We’ll start at the local market with tastings of cheese, olive oil, tinned fish, and Port. Then, dive into a seafood Cataplana stew or a frango grelhada with sangria, followed by award-winning codfish cakes and beer. Next up, enjoy freshly grilled sardines (in season) or some famous bifanas with Vinho Verde and classic Portuguese starters. Finish with an espresso and the famous pastel de nata. Along the way, you’ll hear fun stories of Portuguese history—explorers, kings and revolutions.
