    Gallarus Oratory is a beehive hut from 6th century. Is actually first Christian Church, Monastic side in Ireland. Galarus is an amazing example of high level of engineering from ancient times. Building like chapel is built with perfectly matching rocks without mortar. All rocks are at certain angle not allowing any water to run through. Inside is always dry even during heavy rains. This is history of keltic engineers not to be seen anywhere else.

    Kilmalkedar is associated with Saint Brendan the Navigator. second Bishop of Ireland after Saint Patrick. Also with localy known Saint Maolcethair (Malkedar) who died in 636.
