To celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States, Willow Creek Horseback Rides is proud to introduce a brand-new adventure into a brand-new area of the ranch. In celebration of the 250th birthday of the great country, we have named this ride “The American”.
This 3-hour journey takes you into country we’ve never offered before, and it delivers the best, most breathtaking views Willow Creek has ever showcased. This is truly the crown-jewel ride… the kind of scenery that reminds you what makes the American West so legendary.
Riders climb toward the sky with the full Grand Teton mountain range rising ahead of them like a cathedral. The views are crisp, wide open, and absolutely unforgettable — the kind of moment where you stop your horse, take a deep breath, and realize this is America at its finest.
Along the way, we travel up through Ann’s Pond, a quiet watering hole where moose frequently come in the afternoons to cool off. From there the trail climbs steadily toward Ann’s Ridge, leading riders to the highest natural viewpoint Willow Creek has ever offered.
