The Island is located in the northern region of the peninsula of Yucatan surrounded by the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico offering an unequaled beauty while giving the visitors the feeling that time has stopped, since there aren’t any cars or highways on the island.
A pleasant boat ride through the small Islands that surround Holbox where you can watch several types of birds: white and gray pelicans, frigate birds, seagulls and, depending on the season, even pink flamingos. During the boat trip you might also see dolphins and stingrays.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
