Your cooking class takes place in Nancy's open kitchen and lasts about 1.5 hours. Choose between Chicago-style deep dish pizza or fresh, handmade pasta for your main. Learn the tips and techniques of Italian American cooking before enjoying the meal you helped prepare with your warm and hospitable host. Come prepared for a morning or evening of food, laughter and, hopefully, new friendship.

What To Expect
Step into Nancy’s home near Chicago for a private 1.5 hour hands-on cooking class and choose between making classic Chicago-style deep-dish pizza or fresh handmade pasta. Learn practical cooking techniques in a welcoming home kitchen, then sit down with Nancy to enjoy your homemade meal with wine and dessert.
Nancy welcomes you into her Naperville home (40 min from Chicago) with a big smile and warm heart! Begin your culinary adventure with an appetizer of cheeses, meats and nuts. After getting to know each other, head to her large, open-plan kitchen to make some delicious Chicago-style deep dish pizzas or handmade pasta from scratch (such as fettucine alfredo made from a compound milk sauce!). Please note that the dough will already be prepared since it needs time to rise. Once the pizzas have started baking in the oven (or the pasta dough is resting), Nancy will show you how to put together a delicious salad, a combination of fresh vegetables on a bed of crisp lettuce, a salad dressing and dessert. Share your meal with Nancy and enjoy it over wine or beer while seated at her dining table. Nancy defaults to pasta unless you state pizza when making your booking.
