Imbros Gorge, Frangokastello & Koutelos Beach Private Tour
Overview
This experience combines three completely different sides of southern Crete in one seamless day: mountain hiking, Venetian history, and a peaceful coastal escape.
Rather than focusing only on the hike, the journey continues from Imbros Gorge to the historic Frangokastello Fortress before reaching the quiet shores of Koutelos Beach. The transition from dramatic canyon landscapes to centuries of history and the clear waters of the Libyan Sea creates a rewarding balance between adventure, discovery, and relaxation.
If you wish, your host can also recommend a traditional local taverna where you can enjoy an optional Cretan lunch and discover the authentic flavors of Sfakia.
With private transportation, flexible pacing, and carefully selected stops, this tour offers a richer and more personal way to experience the wild character of southern Crete beyond the standard gorge hike.
