This has without a doubt been the fault of many rulers, who have dreamed of having it as part of their glory. If you contemplate Gjirokastra, you will definitely consider the Castle. Kadare is often referred to. Not only him, in fact all the people of Gjirokastra often refer to the castle. Every imagination of them is definitely related to the Castle. She is the mother of all, who protected them from evil, who gave them freedom. The images that Kadare brings us, through the words of his work, will remain endless. And, really, the walls, the gallery, the clock tower inside it are the very pulse of Gjirokastra. That's why many of the residents tell its legendary story as a true story.
