What To Expect
Step into Mirella and Stefano’s home in Antella for a private, hands-on Tuscan cooking class using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Prepare a multi-course Italian meal from scratch, including fresh pasta and traditional Tuscan dishes, with guidance from your local hosts. Sit down in their garden, weather permitting, to enjoy the meal you prepared together, paired with local wine, Prosecco, and homemade limoncello.
Experience the warmth of an Italian home while learning family-style cooking and hearing stories about Tuscan food and traditions.
With roots in Florentine and Renaissance cooking, Mirella's seasonal menus honor Tuscan heritage and the lavish flavors once enjoyed by the Medici. This hands-on class invites you to prepare 3-4 dishes, such as antipasti, fresh pasta, a main, and seasonal sauces - each a must-try in Florence! Mirella shares stories of Tuscan food history while you cook and enjoy unlimited prosecco and regional wine with your meal. Weather permitting, your culinary journey unfolds in her serene outdoor garden. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the food and culture of Florence with this warm and hospitable Florentine couple.
