Medici Chapels private tour
Overview
Enjoy an insightful private tour of the Medici Chapels, two landmarks of Florentine architecture and the final resting place of members of the famous dynasty that shaped the history of Florence. If you are an art lover it’s a must, but without a tour guide you will deny yourself a unique opportunity to learn the tales and secrets hidden within their walls.
See the monumental Chapel of Princes. Built as the mausoleum for the Grand Dukes of Florence, it became a breathtaking museum decorated with most precious and incorruptible materials: marble, granite, jasper, alabaster, and lapis lazuli and many other semiprecious stones.
Then discover the New Sacristy, another masterpiece of Michelangelo Buonarroti, where he revealed himself not only as a talented sculptor but also as an expressive architect.
Join us for this incredible tour and smoothly navigate inside the Chapels. See incredible details with our expert guide, avoiding all the hassle of big group tours.
