Exclusive Private Pasta Tasting & Cooking Class in Florence
Overview
If you don't want to find yourself at a crowded table with 20 people, fighting for a rolling pin or some flour, you've come to the right place. We offer private lessons or for small groups: for us making pasta is a memory of those Sundays together with family and friends, sharing laughter and special moments.
You will learn in the intimate and welcoming atmosphere of an authentic 1900s workshop. You will receive hands-on training from a local professional chef who will guide you in creating your own fresh pasta, discovering techniques that are easy to replicate at home by transforming your kitchen into a flavor laboratory.
We will explore Tuscan culinary traditions, with stories about recipes that have stood the test of time. We will choose fresh and seasonal ingredients, for dishes rich in authentic Tuscan flavors. We have vegetarian options and ask you to notify us of any food restrictions in advance. All tools and ingredients are provided for a stress-free experience!

What To Expect
During our culinary experience, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of fresh pasta! Here's what you'll do:
1. Introduction to Fresh Pasta:
We will start with a brief introduction on the various types of pasta and their history, to understand the culinary traditions that accompany them.
2. Preparation of the Dough:
You will learn to mix and knead the dough with fresh ingredients, discovering the secrets to get a perfect dough.
3. Preparation of Sauces :
You will discover how to prepare delicious sauces that will accompany your pasta. You will have the opportunity to choose your favorites and learn how to make them.
4. Formation of pasta :
You will move on to the creation phase, cutting and shaping the pasta into classic shapes such as tagliatelle, farfalle or ravioli, depending on your preference.
5. Cooking and Tasting:
After creating your pasta, we will cook it together and you will have the opportunity to taste the dishes you have prepared. We will share a convivial moment to enjoy together the fruit of your work according to the Italian traditions that make our cuisine a UNESCO heritage site.
