Overview
Pelješac is the second-largest peninsula in Croatia, located less than an hour’s drive from Dubrovnik. The region is famous for producing some of the finest red wines in the country. Thanks to a unique “triple insolation” effect—from the sun, the reflection of the sea, and the surrounding hills—grapes grown in Pelješac vineyards develop a high natural sugar content.
Many of the vineyards are situated on steep, hard-to-reach slopes where machinery cannot be used, so nearly all the work is done by hand. The combination of nature’s advantages and dedicated craftsmanship results in truly exceptional wines. Enjoying these remarkable wines while surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Pelješac vineyards is a truly special experience.
