Destin Parasailing Experience
Overview
Parasailing looks scary from a distance, but when you’re in the air — 400 feet in the air — it magnifies the beauty of the landscape below you. Some say it’s a life changing experience for them, one they can’t wait to experience again!
Everyone has something different to say about their experience. To know what impact parasailing in the open skies will have on you, why don’t you join us in Destin? Our boats have the capacity to hold twelve people. You can come as a single or in groups of two, three, or more.
Our parasailing equipment can hold two to three people side by side. We inspect our parasailing equipment daily to ensure you have a fun, safe, and thrilling ride.

What To Expect
Soar above the emerald green waters of Destin, Florida to have the time of your life. Your adventure of 1.5 hour on the boat and 10 min. in the air starts when you board our coast guard inspected CWS boats navigated by a USCG certified captain.
Waiver & Insurance Requirements:
*All going aboard must complete an online waiver prior to check-in
*Minors (17 and under) must have the waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian.
*Combined flight weight: 250–450 lbs; 350 lb max per person.
*Children must be at least 6 years old AND weigh 50 lbs to parasail.
*Children must be at least 3 years old AND weigh 30 lbs to ride on the boat.
*Pregnant women are NOT permitted on board for safety reasons.
*No alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed to be consumed prior to or during the trip.
*Single flyers welcome; will be paired with another guest.
Check in 30 min prior to your departure time.
ALL payments must be accompanied with a valid ID.

Dec 2021Although it is best for you to be comfortable in the water, you do not have to know how to swim. Each guest is provided with a buoyancy compensator (BC) that will assist with flotation.
Apr 2023Yes, the minimum age to parasail is 6 years old. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver prior to boarding the vessel. At City Balloon Tours safety is our number one priority. The minimum weight required for parasailing is roughly 90 pounds. If the flyer is less than 90 pounds, they will simply fly tandem with someone not to exceed roughly 450 pounds combined weight. Weight requirements may differ due to wind conditions.
Feb 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (CST).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
