Enhance your experience of Normandy and its intriguing historical heritage on a full-day tour of Gold & Omaha beaches from Bayeux.
Discover the magnificent British DDAY sites around Ver sur Mer, with an amazing view on Gold Beach. Continue to Arromanches, where you will be able to discover the remains of the artificial Mulberry port. You will visit the DDAY museum in Arromanches which will explain how the Mulberry came to be and the role it played in the events of DDAY. Visit the Longues sur Mer Gun Battery located between Omaha and Gold beach with 4 big German guns to discover in the bunkers!
In the afternoon at Omaha beach, you will stop at la pointe du Hoc to visit famous D-Day battlefield sites while hearing about the bloody events that happened there.
End with a guided visit of the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial and its visitor center on a bluff overlooking the sea.
