Get ready to live an authentic experience in the heart of Bari, in a secret place that holds the true spirit of Apulian cuisine. In the company of a local guide, you will put your hands in the dough to prepare two symbols of tradition: the focaccia from Bari, queen of street food, soft and crisp with juicy cherry tomatoes, which even beat the Genoese focaccia in a last-ditch challenge, and the handmade orecchiette, prepared according to the ancient Bari technique, celebrated by the New York Times as a heritage to be protected. After the lesson, we will sit at the table to enjoy together the fruit of our work, accompanied by a good local wine and stories that smell of tradition.

Experience the real Bari with your hands in the dough
Get ready to discover a hidden corner of Bari, where tradition comes to life amid dough and tales. In the company of a local guide, you will live an immersive experience in the heart of Apulian cuisine, where every gesture smells like home.
What we will do together
We will put our hands in dough to prepare two pillars of Bari gastronomy:
Focaccia from Bari
Queen of street food and pride of the city, it has even surpassed the famous Genoese focaccia in a challenge with taste. You will discover all the secrets to get that golden and crunchy crust that makes it unmistakable, with juicy cherry tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil to perfume it.
Orecchiette handmade
Defined by the New York Times as a true treasure to be protected, you will prepare them following the ancient technique handed down by the grandmothers of Bari, between wise gestures and family stories.
And then... Toast!
After the lesson, we will enjoy the fruit of our work together, including a glass of local wine, laughter and anecdotes typical of Apulian conviviality.
