Private Tour to Girona + Costa Brava (Tossa de Mar)
Overview
Girona is a city in the Catalonia region, in northeastern Spain, next to the Oñar River. It is known for its medieval architecture, the walled Old Quarter (Barri Vell) and the Roman ruins of the Força Vella fortress. The ornamental gardens border the Archaeological Walk, a path that follows the medieval walls of the Old Quarter, with observation towers and panoramic views and give this Tour Girona charm. The series "Game of Thrones" was shot in part in the city of Girona.
Costa Brava is known for its pine-lined cliffs and rocky headlands. Arrive from Barcelona in an air-conditioned minivan and spend a relaxing day exploring with a small group of travelers. Stop in Blanes with the option of visiting the Marimurtra Botanical Garden or a secluded cove; have free time to shop in Tossa de Mar; and savor a traditional lunch in a restaurant.
Costa Brava day trip offers small-group experience.
Guide offers multiple options to explore coastal towns en route.
