You begin your exploration with the extraordinary Cyclopean walls. Walk through the Lion Gate and discover the famous tholos tomb known as the ‘Treasure of Atreus,’ believed to be the burial place of King Agamemnon. Enter the Archaeological Museum of Ancient Mycenae to view a collection of artifacts and treasures excavated from the site. Continue for lunch and complete your journey at Nafplion, a picturesque coastal town known for its historical significance and charming atmosphere. Stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town of Nafplion, discovering its Venetian and Ottoman influences.
