Amsterdam Christmas Walk with Stroopwafel Tasting
Overview
Every winter, Amsterdam transforms into a sparkling Christmas wonderland. On this festive walking tour, your local guide leads you through the historic city center while sharing stories about the city’s history, landmarks and culture.
Starting at Nieuwmarkt square, you’ll stroll along canals decorated for Christmas, perfect for your first festive photos. Pass Rembrandtplein with its cozy Christmas market and continue to the famous Flower Market and Spui Square. The tour ends at Dam Square, right next to the giant Christmas tree, the ideal spot for a holiday snapshot.
Along the way, warm up with a cup of hot chocolate with cream, stay warm with a free 360 Tours winter hat and enjoy a stroopwafel tasting. These freshly made thin waffles with a gooey caramel-syrup filling are one of the most beloved Dutch treats.
